Letter from Recruitment Chair
Primary Recruitment is quickly approaching and I am so beyond excited to lead our chapter through such an extraordinary process! Participating in recruitment is a one of a kind experience that all Delta Gamma women will carry near and dear to their hearts for the rest of their lives. I came to Boulder knowing absolutely no one and the idea of having to make all new friends terrified me. But, the moment I stepped into DG as a potential new member, I knew I had found the place I would call home. Throughout the past 2 years of being a Delta Gamma, I have found my lifelong best friends and have felt so much love and joy being surrounded by these girls everyday. Delta Gamma helped me feel like I truly belonged and I wanted to create that feeling for other girls which motivated me to take on a leadership position when it came to recruitment. I know that the idea of joining Greek Life can sound scary, but the environment that Delta Gamma fosters is greater than any title or name. It is a lifelong “helping hand” and endless laughter and love. Every single girl in this chapter is different which is what makes us so special. Everyone brings something new and exciting to the table and we all value that deeper connection that DG gave us, bringing us closer together while also encouraging us to learn. So, To all of the prospective new members who have been accepted into Boulder — Congratulations! To those of you who choose to go through primary recruitment in the fall, Greek Life is an amazing way to make this big school feel just a little bit smaller, and to help that fear and anxiety of moving to a new place, fade away. Come Fall 2023, Delta Gamma will be waiting for you with open arms. We are so excited to meet you!! With Love, |
